Prokaryotic Gene Regulation

Make sure that you have first reviewed the general material on gene regulation. In our course we will focus on how prokaryotes regulate the the rate of transcription initiation. Even though regulation can occur at other stages of expression this has been the most thoroughly studied and appears to play a predominant role in gene regulation in prokaryotes.
